2025 Special Election

The 2025 Special Election marked a historic victory with the win of I-137 to secure funding for Seattle Social Housing. Alongside those efforts, WashingtonCAN was able to raise the wage in Burien, bringing the city in line with neighboring towns to achieve a step towards economic inclusion for the diverse community of Burien.
