Join WashingtonCAN and our partners at the Power Building Table for Day 1 of our King County Days of Action! We’ll be out in the community knocking doors, having conversations, and sharing resources with neighbors about the issues that matter most — from affordable housing to healthcare and workers’ rights.

Whether you’re an experienced canvasser or brand new to field outreach, this is a great way to build skills, connect with community members, and help us grow our movement.

Join House Our Neighbors and the Complete Communities Coalition at city hall to rally for a comprehensive plan that supports social housing!

The City Council is considering over 100 amendments to the mayor’s proposed comp plan draft, and we want to make sure all of the amendments that support housing affordability and the connected communities make it through.

Council is holding a public hearing on the 12th and it’s important we make our voices heard. Join House Our Neighbors and the Complete Communities Coalition at 1:00pm at city hall for a short rally, and then sign up for in-person comment. Sign up opens at 2:00 pm and public comment begins at 3:00 pm. If you are unable to attend in person, you can sign up for virtual comment in the morning. Virtual sign up should open at 8:30 am and comment will begin at 9:30 am.

WashingtonCAN is heading to Utopia Washington’s MANAFest Resource Fair to celebrate the empowerment of indigenous cultural healing and heritage in Auburn.

We’re there to support and take part in the festival’s vision: forming a community in which individuals can share cultural experiences and knowledge across generations, connecting to their bodies, history, and land with full autonomy. 

There’ll be live music, dance performances, food trucks and vendors, cultural merchants, and countless community members ready to celebrate their cultural heritage and form communities based on building a better future.
